Making a difference
Every day we send out bouquets that bring happiness to recipient and sender alike. But by partnering with community charities, many of which are based here in Melbourne, we're able to spread the happiness even further. Flowers Across Melbourne is joining a growing list of socially responsible companies that not only create great products, but products that benefit the community at large. By purchasing our monthly charity bouquet you're helping us give back to the community.
Each month we pair a charity with one of our popular and beautiful arrangements. At the end of the month we tally up the number of charity arrangements sold, and pass on a portion of the total to that months charity.

Pregnant women need support and care. Pretty straightforward, hey? But so many women are doing it alone and that's an overwhelming space to be in. They are facing motherhood without people helping them and cheering them on. And we are not okay with that!

Brainwave
Brainwave provides practical assistance and emotional support to children living with a neurological condition to improve their quality of life. A neurological condition can include brain cancer, autism, muscular dystrophy, stroke, childhood MS, acquired brain injuries and more.

South Oakleigh Wildlife Shelter
The South Oakleigh Wildlife Shelter is the largest shelter in the Melbourne Metropolitan area. Our rescue activities cover a vast region - all across the city and the south eastern suburbs. We travel hundreds of kilometres weekly rescuing injured and orphaned wildlife.

Cheltenham Cat Rescue
We believe that all breeds of cats deserve loving and caring homes and any medical care necessary to ensure the best possible quality of life, regardless of their age or condition. Through our work, we also seek to educate the community on responsible companion animal guardianship, holistic cat health care management and the dire situation of thousands of healthy cats and kittens being euthanised everyday in Australia…and what can be done to prevent this from happening.

The Welcome Dinner Project
The Welcome Dinner Project is breaking down social barriers by connecting newly arrived migrants with local Australians over dinner. Each guest brings a dish and shares a pot-luck meal in a local volunteer's home or community venue. Since launching in 2013, over 5,000 people have cooked and shared a dish at a Welcome Dinner across Australia.

Lort Smith
Lort Smith is the busiest not-for-profit animal hospital in Australia. 67 vets and 94 vet nurses provided high-quality veterinary care for 24,384 animals in 2015. Every year at Lort Smith Adoption Centre 1,000 animals are rehouse, 95 animals are boarded in crisis and 1,200 animals are fostered.
