We're not a faceless corporation. We're a team of real florists who've been getting up at 3am since 2009 to bring you the freshest flowers across Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.
From a living room to your doorstep
Flowers Across didn't start in a boardroom with a "synergy" chart; it started in a living room with a lot of caffeine and a big dream. Back in 2009, our founders, Rob and Nadina, decided to go all in. They sold their family home to fund the business and spent years living above the warehouse, waking up at 3am to hand pick stems and working until 7pm to make sure every bouquet was perfect.
While Nadina was obsessing over the petals, Rob was tackling the "clunky" tech that makes most online flower-buying a headache. He taught himself to code from scratch just to build a better experience for you—one that includes things like live tracking and real-time updates that actually work.
We've grown a bit since those early days, but we're still the same bootstrapped, family-run team that values quality over corporate fluff.
The Flowers Across difference: No middleman, no mystery
We are the antidote to the "stuffy" corporate florist. Most big websites are just relay services—they take your order, skim a fee off the top, and send it to a stranger to fulfil. We think that's a bit rubbish.
At the other end of the scale, many local florists have strong floristry chops and beautiful blooms to work with, but delivery logistics are classed as a necessary evil, and modern tech is, well, not very modern—most still have fax machines (what's a fax you ask? exactly!).
That's where we come in, we like to think of ourselves as your local friendly florist, just online! High-tech + pretty flowers.
No Relay Service
When you order from Flowers Across, you are dealing directly with us. Our own florists arrange your bouquet, ready to be hand-delivered straight to your loved one's door in record time. It's called a "No Relay" service, and it means your flowers stay fresher, arrive faster, and actually look like the photo on our website.
Our local roots
As we grew, we started with our flowersacrossmelbourne.com.au site, built our Sydney site at flowersacrosssydney.com.au in 2015 and eventually moved into Brisbane in 2022 with flowersacrossbrisbane.com.au. We've since unified our home at flowersacross.com.au, but our heart is still in the local streets of the cities we love.

This is where it all began in 2009. You'll find our main hub in Preston, where we still work with suppliers and growers we met on our very first day at the markets, sourcing the best flowers Victoria has to offer.

Our Marrickville team is up bright and early scouring the Sydney Flower Market to ensure your blooms are as fresh as a Harbour breeze.
Brisbane
Est. 2022
We take full advantage of the Sunshine State's climate, sourcing incredible, vibrant blooms and plants directly from local Queensland growers and suppliers.
